Decatur Makers removes barriers to hands-on learning by providing affordable access to tools, free trainings, and a welcoming space where people can build skills, gain confidence, and explore creativity. Join us for a fun afternoon of Topgolf that helps support free STEAM outreach, skill-building workshops, and community learning across Decatur.

Why This Event Matters?
Funds raised support free trainings, hands-on skill-building, and youth education that help people gain practical tools, build confidence, and connect in a supportive space. Support expands free outreach STEAM programs, accessible workshops, and Open Build Nights as engaging community learning opportunities.
Tournament Format
Topgolf tournaments are friendly, high-energy competitions where players earn points by hitting microchipped balls into targets across the outfield. Participants usually play in teams or individually over a set number of rounds, with each shot scored automatically based on accuracy and distance. At the end, the highest-scoring players or teams win—bragging rights included, swing critiques optional.
