Youth Maker Experiences

Empower young minds to create, explore, and innovate with Decatur Makers! Our workshops provide fun, engaging, hands-on learning experiences that align with Georgia Department of Education (GADOE) standards. Perfect for schools, after-school programs, scout troops, homeschool groups, and other youth-serving organizations.

Engineering Design Challenge

Groups use the engineering design process to collaboratively solve a real-world problem.

Girl Scout Badge

Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors can complete their Craft & Tinker or Create & Innovate badge.

Youth Maker Workshop

Students build a project tailored to their age group, exploring everything from woodworking to robotics.

Our space can accommodate up to 30 people (students and chaperones).

We also travel to you for on-site workshops and outreach events!

Pricing depends on project and group size.

Experiences are usually 1.5 to 2 hours in length.
