🎉 How to Customize Your Fundraising Page for Maker Stroll: Capes & Crowns!

Want to rally your friends and family to support a cause you love? Here's how to create your own fundraising page and be a Decatur Makers hero!

✅ Step 1: Getting Started

• Visit the Maker Stroll event page: www.decaturmaker.org/makerstroll

• Click the “Registration Now” button to sign up for the event.

• Click the “Start Fundraising” button to set up your fundraising page:

  - Log in or create a donor account when prompted

  - If creating a new account, check your email to complete the account registration

  - Once you're logged in, the fundraising customization page will open

✏️ Step 2: Customize Your Page

- Choose a Fundraiser Title (e.g., “Queen Maker’s Fundraiser”)

- Set a Goal Amount (just enter numbers like 500 for $500)

- Pick a Custom URL (letters and numbers only — no spaces or symbols)

📸 Step 3: Add an Image

- Upload a photo to make your page stand out!

Tips:

- Use a JPEG or PNG

- Recommended size: at least 400×400 px

- 4:3 ratio looks best

💬 Step 4: Tell Your Story

Share why Decatur Makers matters to you. A short, heartfelt story goes a long way!

Example: “Decatur Makers helped my son fall in love with STEM. I want more kids to have access to hands-on learning!”

📣 Step 5: Publish & Share

- Click Save to publish your page

- Share your unique fundraiser link with friends, family, and on social media

- You can view and edit your fundraising page anytime using the button at the bottom

Note: It may take up to 2 hours for your fundraiser page to appear publicly.
