Before You Donate

✅ We’re looking for:

  • Hand & power tools in good shape

  • 3D printers, sewing machines, electronics gear

  • Measuring tools, laptops, small shop equipment

  • New, unused lumber (straight from the store, not reclaimed)

❌ We can’t take:

  • Gas-powered, broken, or unsafe items

  • Large appliances or furniture

  • Paint, chemicals, or e-waste without chargers

  • Reclaimed wood, pallets, or previously used lumber

⚠️ Note: Decatur Makers can’t assign a dollar value for tax purposes. Donors set fair-market value, and we’ll happily provide an acknowledgment letter for your records.

Tool & Equipment Donation

We love tools that keep our community creating! While we can use many of the items listed below, we may not always have the need or space for them. All donations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and items must be in good working condition. Please share details and photos below, and we’ll let you know if it’s a fit.
